  15. So where did Red Box come from? One of those operating system building blocks? Or another type of "Black Box" for new airplanes in the future? The answer is none of the above.

  17. This set of icons was mutated from one of the "looks and feels" we provided for our new client, Apple Computers, Inc. - AppleWorks (formly known as Claris Works).

  19. The style of copland with a simple "Red Box" on the side. That's the idea behind this set.

  22. Legality:

The enclosed icons are ﾂｩ1998 The Iconfactory. The icons are original artwork from the author and can be used free of charge by any person without a licensing fee. These icons can only be distributed as freeware. If you choose to redistribute Red Box folders, you may not charge fees or request compensation OF ANY KIND and the read-me file must accompany the set at all times. By downloading this file you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

  33. How To make Use of Red Box as Mac Icons:
  34. 1. You need system 7 or higher.
  35. 2. Do a "Get Info" (File menu) on the original Red Box icon file that you want to use.
  36. 3. Click on the icon in the window; choose "Copy" (Edit menu).
  37. 4. Close the window, then "Get Info" on destination file/disk.
  38. 5. Click on the icon, choose "Paste" (Edit menu). (this method won't work on the trash can)
